 When a person leaves the beach after a sunny day of relaxation and tanning he/she feels a sense of mental renewal and physical revitalization. Planet Beach was founded in 1996 with the idea that a tanning salon should provide an experience that is similar to that of a beach vacation, yet alternative and stimulating at the same time. Thus, to capture the essence of this feeling, the words “Planet” and “Beach” were combined to form a name representative of such a salon environment. Since that time, Planet Beach has grown to over 100 franchise locations open in the United States and Canada, and over 100 additional locations in various stages of development including new locations set to open in Australia. It is our vision to bring the Planet Beach experience to every vibrant community across the globe. We will achieve this goal by awarding franchises to good people who share in this vision. We are looking for motivated, goal-oriented team players that are willing to work within our proven system and possess a strong desire to excel in an eccentrically fun business. Our system works well for non-owner operators, multi-unit developers as well as area developers.
Training & Support
 PBFC provides a monthly school for franchisees and their managers to prepare the new salon owner and managers for each phase of opening and operating a Planet Beach tanning salon. Additionally, all of our associates have access to our web-based Planet Beach University for on-going training
