 Decor & You® is a franchise that provides two exciting opportunities: First, the Decor Designer option offers individuals the opportunity to earn an income in a field that reflects their interest in and passion for decorating. Because it is a home-based business, this option can be very appealing to many people whose lifestyle demands flexible work schedule. The second option, Regional Director, is designed for more management-oriented people who achieve their optimum career satisfaction by helping others reach their goals. This business model allows an individual with a vision of the bigger picture to develop an ever-increasing royalty stream for continued income. Complete training is provided for either option; no prior experience in decorating is required.
Training & Support
With Decor & You®, no prior experience in decorating is needed! There are four phases of training provided to our new franchise owners. The first phase is completed at home and encompasses business start-up details as well as basics in design from Mary Gilliatt`s Design Course written exclusively for Decor & You®. Phase two is an eleven day program at our Support Center where various aspects of the decorating business are covered: color and design, trends, product knowledge, client development, follow-up skills, marketing and advertising and specialized computer skills for additional sampling. All of this is to implement our unique system of working with clients through our ”Decor Plan.” Phase three is a 26-week ”Keys to Success” program that helps focus our Decor Designers on building a profitable business. Phase four is our ongoing coaching and mentoring program that helps Decor Designers refine their skills and build confidence as they build their businesses. At the culmination of our complete training program, our Decor Designers participate in our ”Awards Program”, for which they are recognized for their achievements and excellence in their decorating projects.
